Florida Health Care Association (FHCA)

The Florida Health Care Association is a professional federation that represents the state's 700 nursing homes, both proprietary and non-profit. By extension, FHCA also represents the interests of its members' frail, elderly patients by advocating for adequate federal and state reimbursements and even-handed regulation. Founded in 1954, FHCA continues to play a vital role in the shaping of national and state elder care policy.

Employer Association of Florida (EAF)

The Employers Assoication of Florida, Inc. is a non-profit, statewide Human Resources Association, which began in Florida in 1980. EAF represents over 600 member companies with over 250,000 employees in every business sector. EAF is an integral afffiliate of the National Employers Association Group which represents over 50,000 employers and five million employees nationwide. Members receive over 20 publications free including wage surveys, benefits surveys, compliance manuals, newsletters and HR, Legal and Safety hotlines. Our members-only website services include on-line policies, model forms, legal alerts, white papers and innovative employer practices. The on-line job center allows members to post positions free of charge. In addition, all employees within our member companies enjoy unlimited and free access to 10 HR & Safety on-line training programs. We also have several publications, training, on-site consulting and insurance services that are discounted to members.

Drug and Alcohol Testing Industry Association (DATIA)

The Drug and Alcohol Testing Industry Association was founded in 1995 as the National Association of Collection Sites, and has grown to represent over 1,000 members, and expanded its scope. DATIA now represents the entire spectrum of drug and alcohol service providers including collection sites, laboratories, consortiums/TPAs, MROs and testing equipment manufacturers. DATIA's mission includes:

  • To represent the drug and alcohol testing industry in Washington, DC on key legislature and regulatory issues
  • To expand the workplace drug and alcohol testing market
  • To provide members information, resources and benefits important to their operations
  • To promote the highest possible standards for the industry

National Association of Professional Background Screeners (NAPBS)

The National Association of Professional Background Screeners serves to represent the interest of companies offering employment and background screening. NAPBS aims to promote ethical business, as well as compliance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act and foster awareness of issues related to consumer protection and privacy rights within the background screening industry

National Retail Federation (NRF)

The NRF is the world's largest retail trade association, with membership that comprises all retail formats and channels of distribution including department, specialty, discount, catalog, Internet and independent stores as well as the industry's key trading partners of retail goods and services. As the industry umbrella group, NRF also represents more than 100 state, national and international retail associations.

Association of Consumer Reporting Agencies (ACRA)

The Association of Consumer Reporting Agencies was formed in 2001 as the first association specifically for consumer reporting agencies providing background information on job applicants and employees. Edge Information Management, Inc. is proud to be one of the five founding members of ACRA. ACRA members pledge:

  • To set standards of professionalism for the background screening industry
  • To adopt self-regulatory principles governing the release and use of personal data
  • To take a stance on legislative issues on the Federal and State levels in regard to obtaining and releasing information to employers
